We at desisoup believe in:
- keeping things simple, common-sense, down-to-earth, honest, very real.
- providing an alternative to impersonal, big-media desi sites.
- being a collection of communities with similar spirit, not a single monolithic entity.
- providing the easy-to-use and easy-to-find platform with no banner-ads.
How we started:
At SignOnDesi we've developed quite a few successful sites for the Indian community including IndianYP, SanDiegoDesi & sasural.
However, when we searched long and wide for a decent indian desi classifieds site - we found 2 kinds of websites:
- big-media sites that flash their banners all around the page - clustering the actual message and
- poorly designed sites that require registration
The need for a limited banner/text-ad (importantly cluster free display) & registration-free desi community website inspired us to create desisoup.
We hope to add more features in due course of time and ofcourse nothing pleases us more than your comments and feedback.
